“It would be cool if you took the tangerine peel, put some ink on it, and ran it through a press. Or you could sprinkle iron oxide onto the tangerine peel and zero waste that paper under a rock to rust. You could dissolve the flour rocks in water, separate the beads, and make a necklace. Use the flour water mixture to make a paste. Add spark to the paper, make a fire. Disable electronics with the magnet. Find a sense of play. Don’t worry how the lines are set. The margin.”

The Margin gives a sense of instruction, both requesting and demanding. The poems shift between prompts on creation and prompts on consumption. This initiates the reader to the text, where the speaker also is working between creation and the consumption that seems to be its prerequisite.
